Chicken lifecycle talk & chicks
Through our talks on lifecycles we are able to cover the National Curriculum, including Science 2 life processes and living things and answer kid’s questions on life and its many cycles through interaction with living examples. This is available from March – September only, as no chicks are hatched in the winter months.
Where Food Comes From
Does Milk come from a cow or the Supermarket? In our modern society many children are unaware of where many of staple foods come from. I can come along and give a talk that can include the animals (this is optional) so that children are able to grasp the concept of where our food comes from and how it is produced, using a “backward shopping” exercise.
Bottle Fed Lambs
A very popular activity where children are given the chance of bottle feeding lambs which is a magical moment for all ages. Please contact me to discuss your needs, normally available between April and May.
Care Talks
Rabbit and guinea pig care talks enable children to understand about how to care for animals and what this entails and inspires interest and respect.
Pets Corner
Our pets’ corner can be used for school fairs, fetes, parties and playgroups, it includes all the animals and is set up more just for animal handling and interaction with an emphasis on fun rather than education.
School Visits
With School visits, we come to you so there is no need to be bothered with booking coaches or insurance. It is more cost effective, giving you the opportunity to include a whole year group with one visit. Please discuss your requirements with me.
Pricing
Pricing varies depending on your requirements, childrens parties are £80 for an hours entertainment, schools and nursery visits are available, phone to discuss your requirements. Sorry about price rises, but both feed and diesel have gone up! Please give me at least 14 days notice of any event.
